How to register a time collector or log in to the BatePonto App

The BatePonto app transforms your cell phone or tablet into a secure and complete digital time clock, meeting all legal requirements.

The first time you access the BatePonto app, you will need to log in with a user who has permissions . For employees to be able to clock in and out on the app, it is essential that they complete the initial registration, which we call creating the collector. See how to perform the procedure correctly:


Step-by-step initial setup guide


  1. Access the link corresponding to your device's operating system and download the app:


  1. Welcome screen: Tap the Start .



  1. Initial Permissions: The app will request permission to access location and storage . Tap Allow (or "While using the app").




  1. Login: Enter your email and username (provided by your HR department or manager) and tap Log In .




  1. Profile Selection (If applicable): If your user has access to multiple profiles (if it's a group user, such as a user with "collector registration" permission), select the desired profile and tap " Continue and register ".



  1. Device identification : Enter a name to identify the collector being created.



  1. Selecting work locations : If you logged in with a group user, you can select one or more work locations instead of all of them. This way, only employees at the selected locations will be able to clock in and out on the time clock.




  1. Confirm your registration : Check if the information is correct. If so, tap " Confirm and register ".



  1. Media Permissions: The app will ask for permission to use the camera and microphone . Tap Allow .
  • Essential for: Photo registration and voice commands.




  1. After synchronization, you will be taken to the home screen, where you can register your attendance .



The BatePonto app is set up and ready to use! You won't need to repeat this process unless you change devices or reinstall the app.
