How to submit a dismissal request using the Pontotel Gestão app

Pontotel Gestão app was designed to keep up with the evolution of your company's routine, allowing you to manage your team's work schedule with complete mobility. Submitting an absence, such as a medical certificate, is a quick and easy process.


⚠️ Warning: Login to the app must be performed by a user who has permission for this type of transaction, such as a profile with HR access, for example.


How to submit a dismissal request using the Management App


  1. On the app's home screen, tap the " + " icon in the bottom menu.


  1. "dismiss" option .



  1. Select the collaborator from the list and tap confirm.



  1. Select the reason for the dismissal.



💡 Tip: If there is no reason that fits the situation, create a new default reason. See this article on how to do it: Understand what default reasons are and how to register them .


  1. Set the date on which the dismissal will be released by tapping the corresponding day on the calendar.



💡 Tip: If it's a leave of absence for more than one day, tap on the start day first, and then on the end day. The app will automatically select all the days between them.


  1. Now it's time to make adjustments related to the time off:


  • If it's a full day off, check the " consider the whole day " option.



  • If it is a partial leave, choose whether you want to report it by interval or by duration .


    • When choosing a break , you must specify the start and end times of the break.



    • In the duration section , enter the total dismissal time in HH:MM .



  • Below, you will find additional information that can be configured:
    • Expected break duration: indicate the break time the employee is entitled to on this day, considering the time off. If the employee loses the right to the break due to the time off, leave it at zero. This field is used to adjust the calculation of working hours and ensure that the system correctly considers the total time off.
    • Travel time: report the time the employee took to travel to the desired location (for example, to the doctor or clinic). This time is added to the leave period and may impact the calculation of working hours, depending on the leave handling rule configuration.


  • To proceed, tap confirm.


  1. Now it's time to adjust the pantry options
  • **Discount DSR:** When activated, the absence may impact the Paid Weekly Rest, with the discount applied according to the company's rules.
  • **Consider as hours worked:** By activating this option, the leave period will be counted as if the employee had worked normally, without generating any deductions for hours.
  • **Consider as an absence:** When activated, the absence will be recorded as an absence, which may generate deductions and impacts on reports and payroll, according to the company's settings.



  1. On the next screen, you can attach the certificate , statement, or other document related to the leave. You can also fill in the healthcare professional's information .



  1. Finally, check that all the exemption information is correct. If everything is correct, tap " OK ".



  1. Done! The leave has been processed and can be found on the employee's timesheet for the specified day(s).

  • Calculation Rules: Remember that the impact of this leave on the hours balance will follow the calculation rule linked to the employee on that specific date.

When a dismissal is requested through the app, HR receives the information in real time on the web platform (if the device is connected to the internet), optimizing payroll processing.
