I01 - How to import the AFD file
The I01 report – AFD File Import – allows you to import AFD (Data Source File) files from time clocks into the Pontotel platform, meeting the requirements of labor legislation.
Now, the system accepts files in both the Ordinance 1510 and Ordinance 671 , ensuring greater flexibility in the use of different time clock models.
This process is essential to keep official work hour records always up-to-date, enabling audits and consultations when necessary.
Step-by-step guide to importing the AFD file.
- Access report I01
In the platform menu, locate the option I01 – AFD File Import .

- Select the AFD file.
Click the attachment icon and select the .txt exported from the time clock.
Now, in addition to files from Ordinance 1510 , it is also possible to import files in the format of Ordinance 671. The system automatically recognizes the layout.

Before submitting, you can check the "Filter records by date" . This feature allows only records within a specific range to be considered in the import.
- Send the file
After selecting the file, click submit so that the records are processed and integrated into the employees' timesheet.
Understand the importer
When importing the files:
- The system validates the physical clock code and correctly associates the records.
- If the same clock exports files in different layouts (1510 or 671), they will be accepted without restrictions.
- All imported points are available for consultation and auditing in the system, being visible on the timesheet or reports, complying with current legislation.
The I01 – AFD File Import is an essential tool for time and attendance management, ensuring legal compliance and record integrity.
With the update, the process has become even more practical: you can import files from both Ordinance 1510 and Ordinance 671 without worrying about blocks or incompatibilities.
