I05 - How to register work schedules in bulk
The I05 importer is a feature that allows for mass registration within the Pontotel platform, in a practical and secure way. Now, in addition to users, employees, employers, workplaces, and vacations, it is also possible to import work schedules directly through a template spreadsheet.
This feature is ideal for companies that work with multiple types of work schedules and want to streamline initial setup or perform updates more efficiently.
How to download the template spreadsheet
- In the side menu of the Management website, click on Management . Then select Reports and Records .

- In the "importers" list, select option I05 - File Importers.
- Fill in the importer filters
- In "import type", select the Journeys option.

- Below, select the desired file extension to download the template spreadsheet for filling in the information.

How to fill out the template spreadsheet
To register work schedule(s)

- Select the "Register Work Schedule" tab.

- Fill in the spreadsheet starting from row 4. See what each column means:
Required fields:
- Name: Full name of the journey for easy identification in the system.
- Code: unique identifier for the journey (cannot be repeated). Used for internal control.
- Entry: start time of the workday in HH:MM format (e.g., 08:00).
- Break: the start time of the main break (e.g., 12:00).
- Return: return time from the main break (e.g., 13:00).
- Departure: end of the workday (e.g., 6:00 PM).
Optional fields (if not filled in, the field will be blank or will be filled with the system default):
- First rest break: additional break foreseen by NR17 (the NR17 functionality must be active).
- First return from rest: return from the first NR17 break (NR17 functionality must be active).
- Second rest break: second additional break NR17 (NR17 functionality must be active).
- Second return from rest: return from the second NR17 break (NR17 functionality must be active).
- Payment type: defines the type of work schedule. It can be: Normal, Extraordinary, or Special. If left blank, it will be considered "Normal".
- Calculation rule: the name of the calculation rule that will be applied. It must be exactly the same as the one registered in the system.
- Legal duration: the legal duration of the workday (e.g., 08:00).
- Mandatory attendance: defines whether the employee is required to attend this work schedule. Fill in with Y for yes and N for no. If left blank, it will be considered "yes".
To register days off

- Select the "Register Day Off Schedule" tab.

- Fill in the spreadsheet starting from row 4. See what each column means:
Required fields:
- Name: Full name of the journey for easy identification in the system.
- Code: unique identifier for the journey (cannot be repeated). Used for internal control.
Optional fields (if not filled in, the field will be blank or will be filled with the system default):
- Description: Add a brief description of the journey.
- Characteristic: Define the type of work schedule: normal, compensatory, or DSR (weekly rest day). If there is no specific need, leave it blank so that it is considered "normal". This field serves to identify the type of work schedule in the AEJ - Electronic Work Schedule File, and will not impact the calculations of the day's time entries.
- Payment type: defines the type of work schedule. It can be: Normal, Extraordinary, or Special. If left blank, it will be considered "Normal".
- Calculation rule: the name of the calculation rule that will be applied. It must be exactly the same as the one registered in the system.
- Color: Define the color that the workday will have on the timesheet within the platform, which can be: green, red, blue, yellow, or gray.
- **After filling out the spreadsheet according to the defined objective, save the file. If you are using Excel, click on "File", then "Save", or press CTRL + S.**.
How to upload the completed spreadsheet
- Return to the Management website , in the same location instructed in item 1, and select option I05 - File Importers again. Click the " attach " button, and select the file on your computer with the information you filled in.

- Finish by clicking import.

- Please wait for the spreadsheet import process to finish.

- Once the process is complete, a report will be generated with import feedback. Ensure that the user has been created, updated, or deactivated.
With the I05 Importer, registering work schedules in batches becomes much faster and more practical. This feature contributes to more efficient and standardized management of your employees' work schedules.
