I06 - How to use the Time Bank Importer
The Time Bank Importer (I06) allows managers to quickly and easily update employee time bank balances using a spreadsheet in .xlsx.
This feature is ideal for companies that need to centrally record or adjust large volumes of data, without having to manually enter each employee's information.
In this article, you will learn how to import banked hours data using a spreadsheet.
How to use the Time Bank Importer
- In the main menu, click on Management, then select Reports and Records.

- Go to the Imports and select I06 - Time Bank Importer.
- In "import type", select the "Time Bank".
- Click on "download as xlsx" to download the standard spreadsheet that needs to be filled out.

- Fill out the template spreadsheet.

5.1. **Enter the fields **PASSWORD, NAME, CPF ** or PIS in plain text format (Columns **A to D), exactly as they appear in the employee's record.
5.2. Use the decimal format with a period (.) for the Positive Total and Negative Total fields (Columns **E and F)
- Example:
0.5represents 00:30 - Example:
1.0represents 01:00 - Example:
1.5represents 01:30
5.3. Fill in the date the balance will be posted in the format DD/MM/YYYY (Columns G to I)
5.4. If there are overtime hours, extraordinary hours and/or special hours, add the values together to achieve a Positive Total.

1.0 - Special overtime:
1.0 - Total Positive:

- Overtime:
5.5. If the balance to be added should be considered for calculating bank limits (Column M), fill in with "S" or leave blank. If it should not be considered, fill in with "N".
5.6. If this is a partial reduction of the employee's time bank balance (Column N), fill in with "S".
- After filling it out, save the spreadsheet. Go back to the importer screen and click the icon below to select the file on your computer.

- Click "import" to upload the file.

- Please wait for the spreadsheet import process to finish.

- Once the process is complete, a report will be generated with feedback on the import.
- Make sure the banked hours balance has been entered on the employee's timesheet and is being included in the accumulated banked hours.
- The data entered in the spreadsheet must be exactly the same as the data registered in the system (such as CPF and name), otherwise the import may fail.
- Always review the values before importing, ensuring that the sum of the overtime fields matches the Positive Total .
- The decimal format with a period (.) is required. Commas (,) will not be accepted.
- Keep a copy of the imported spreadsheet for internal control or auditing purposes.
The Time Bank Importer (I06) offers greater speed and efficiency in time management, allowing adjustments to be made in batches simply and securely. By correctly filling out the template spreadsheet and following the steps above, you ensure that the information is imported without errors.
