R28 - How to generate the time bank reduction report
The R28 report provides a detailed overview of all time bank entries made by employees during the selected period. It is essential for monitoring balance adjustments, controlling adjustments, and ensuring transparency in the management of employee hours
Step-by-step guide to generating the R28 report.
- In the navigation menu of the Management website, select the Reports and Records.
- Select the option "R28 - Time Bank Write-Off Report".
- Configure the filters.

- Choose the filter criteria according to your needs. You can select by workplace, employer, or employee.
- Next, specify the desired period by filling in the start and end dates.
- If you wish, check the "send report results by email" option to receive the file directly at the email address registered to your user account.
- Click on "generate excel" to start processing the report.
- In the navigation menu, click the bell icon (Notifications) to track the file being generated.
- When it reaches "100%", the report will be downloaded automatically.
Understand the report
After generation, the compressed (.zip) file will contain the following spreadsheets:
- Main spreadsheet (success): This spreadsheet gathers the main registration data of employees who had reduced during the filtered period, detailing each transaction (such as the number of hours reduced, dates, and reasons, when available). This is the reference spreadsheet for monitoring and verifying the entries made.

- Error spreadsheet: Lists the inconsistencies or problems identified during processing that prevented certain collaborators from being included in the report. This allows you to analyze and correct the necessary records before attempting again.
- Status spreadsheet: Summarizes the processing status by employee, indicating whether the employee was included in the report generation.
By following these steps, you can easily generate a report of banked hours deductions made through the Pontotel platform, obtaining a detailed and consolidated view of all transactions that occurred during the period. Use the information in the spreadsheets to monitor, verify, and adjust your team's banked hours management.
