Is your BatePonto website's time clock malfunctioning? See a solution using cookie settings.
Have you ever set up a computer to clock in and out at your company ( BatePonto Web ), but after some time it asked for a login and password again, as if it had never been registered?
This happens due to a security measure in your browser (Google Chrome, Edge, etc.).
To comply with the requirements of Ordinance 671 and ensure that the time is being recorded on the correct device, BatePonto saves an identification file in your browser, called a Cookie .
If your browser is set to "Clear cookies on close" or if you use an Incognito tab , this file is deleted when you close the window. As a result, the system "forgets" that that computer is an authorized collector.
How to solve this? (Setting up Google Chrome)
To prevent BatePonto from disconnecting automatically, you need to allow the Pontotel website to save data in your browser.
Here's how to configure it in Google Chrome :
- Open the Chrome browser and, in the upper right corner, click on the three dots and select Settings .

- In the left-hand sidebar menu, click on Privacy and Security and then on " Third-party cookies" (or "Cookies and other site data" ).

- Add button next to "Sites that can always use cookies".
- In the window that opens, type the following address:
[*.]pontotel.com.br
- Check the box "Include third-party cookies on this site" (if available) and click Add .

BatePonto (Time Clock) information saved, avoiding the need to reconfigure the data collector.
