How to manually add points to a timesheet

In some situations, it may be necessary to manually enter points on an employee's timesheet—whether to correct missed clockings, regularize work hours, record justifications, or adjust specific daily events. The Pontotel system allows you to do this in a simple, transparent way, fully compliant with labor laws.

Step-by-step instructions for adding a manual stitch.

1. Access the employee's timesheet.

  • Fill in the search filters to locate the desired sheet.

First, choose whether you want to filter by locations, employees, or groups, and then select the options you want to view.

After clicking "search," use the field to the left of the filter to define the period, choosing the month and year you wish to search.

2. Add the dot

  • Select the field for the day you want to add the new point. When the edit option appears, enter the desired time using four numbers.
  • Example: Dial 0800 for 8:00 AM.
  • After entering the time, if the system prompts you, provide a reason for the entry. You can choose one of the three pre-established reasons, use standard reasons previously registered in the "reason" field, or, if you prefer, freely write your justification in the field available below. If you choose the last option, finish by pressing "ENTER".

The ability to manually add points ensures flexibility in managing working hours, allowing you to correct errors, unforeseen events, or meet specific employee needs. Use this feature responsibly and, if you have any questions, consult our support team.
