How to report a work-from-home schedule on an employee's timesheet
Pontotel allows you to identify when a workday was completed from home, enabling more precise control over benefits related to the employee's physical presence, such as transportation and meal vouchers.
This information also directly impacts the R18 report – Benefits Spreadsheet, used by many companies to verify and calculate the benefits granted to employees.
In this article, we'll see how to correctly report that a workday was conducted remotely and how this setting influences the platform's reports.
Step by step
- In the navigation menu of the Management website, click on Payroll, then select Timesheet.
- Filter by employees.

- In the "select employees" field, search for and select the employee, then click Search.

- In the upper left corner of the screen, select the skill .

- Locate the day and click on the three dots next to the date.

- Select the " home office " option

- Confirm the request in the "events" column.

- To remove the event, click the three dots again, then click "view day details," and on the screen that appears, click the "remove" button next to the "home office" event.

After correctly configuring the system, work-from-home schedules will be considered when generating the R18 report – Benefits Spreadsheet, assisting in the control and calculation of benefits granted to employees.
This process ensures greater accuracy in the information used by HR and reduces discrepancies related to transportation vouchers, meal vouchers, and other benefits linked to the employee's physical presence.
