How to clock in/out without internet (offline)

The BatePonto and Pontotel Gestão allow employees to clock in and out even without an internet connection. This feature ensures that employees can clock in and out normally, even in locations with no signal or unstable connection. The records are stored locally on the device and are automatically synchronized as soon as the connection is restored.

Step by step

1. Open the app

When you open the app without an internet connection, an icon in the upper right corner will indicate that you are offline. However, you will still be able to continue using it normally.

2. Complete the registration as usual.

Click the center "clock in" button to begin registration.

After selecting the type of point, a confirmation screen will appear. Check your personal information (name, CPF) and workplace, and click "confirm" to verify your identity .

Next, select the type of point you want to mark: Entry, Pause, Return, or Exit.

Depending on your security settings, the app may request a photo to validate your registration. Position your face in the indicated area and wait for the automatic capture.

After the photo is captured, the app will display a screen confirming that the point was successfully registered. You will see a message informing you that the point has been saved locally and will be automatically sent when the device regains an internet connection. Finish by clicking "finish".

3. Automatic Synchronization

As soon as the device reconnects to the internet, the app will automatically sync all offline records with the timesheet in the Pontotel system.

No further action is required to synchronize.

Important tip

It is recommended to periodically check if all points have been properly synchronized. If you notice any points that are not synchronized, make sure your device is connected to the internet and restart the application.
