How to correct timesheet entries
If you've identified incorrect or incomplete time and attendance records on an employee's timesheet or on your own timesheet, you can make adjustments directly through the Pontotel platform. This article shows you how to locate the records and make corrections quickly and securely.
⚠️ Warning:
To correct entries on the timesheet, the user must have the appropriate editing permissions. If you are unable to make the changes, it is likely that your profile does not have access to this action.

Step-by-step guide to correcting stitches
1. Access the timesheet
In the top menu of the Management website , click on "sheet ," then select "timesheets .

2. Fill in the search filters.
First, select the "employees" option. Then, select the desired employee. After clicking search, you can define the period (month and year) you wish to view.

3. Locate the day to be corrected.
Each line corresponds to a day of the month, with time slots for arrival, break, return, and departure.
4. Edit the record.
Click on the field that needs adjustment. You can replace, add, or delete times as needed.

- To delete , select the point and press the "DELETE" key.
- If it is a real point (recorded by the employee), it will be necessary to select or write a reason for the cancellation.
- To replace a point, select the existing point, press "BACKSPACE," and type the new point.
- To include a time entry, select the corresponding field (entry, break, return, or exit) and enter the time, consisting of 4 digits.
- For additions, a reason will also be required, unless the option indicated below in the timesheet toolbar is unchecked.

After you finish editing, click outside the field or press Enter. The system automatically saves and updates the day's notes.
Keeping the timesheet up-to-date and accurate is essential to ensure the transparency and security of the records. Review all adjustments before finalizing the closing of the timesheet.
