How to delete points using the Pontotel Gestão app
Need to remove an incorrectly entered time record? The Pontotel Gestão app allows you to delete time entries directly from your mobile phone, making it easy to correct records and ensuring payroll accuracy. See how simple it is to make this adjustment.
Step-by-step instructions for deleting a point.
1. Access the Pontotel Management application.
Open the app on your mobile device and log in .
2. Tap the “Sheet” tab.
In the bottom menu "Sheet" option to view the list of collaborators on your team.
3. Select the desired collaborator.
Search for the employee's name and tap on it. Then, tap "view sheet" to access the records.

4. Select the day of the record to be deleted from the timesheet.
The app will display the employee's timesheet, showing all days of the month, start, break, return, and end times, as well as the work schedule status (work or time off).
Select a day to open the full breakdown of the records for that point.

5. Access the point details.
With the day selected, view the registration details by tapping on it.

6. Tap on “justify and cancel point”
On the record details screen, tap the justify and cancel point option.

7. Select the reason and confirm the deletion.
- Please state the reason for removing the point.
- After making your selection, tap "confirm".

- Review the request summary and, if everything is correct, tap "cancel point".


8. Check the timesheet.
After that, we recommend accessing the timesheet again and checking if the entry has been removed.

⚠️ Warning:
- Actual time clock entries (those clocked in directly by the employee) cannot be deleted, only canceled . In this case, the entry will remain visible on the timesheet, but will appear crossed out and will be disregarded in the calculations.
- Manual time entries (entered by a user directly into the timesheet) can be deleted . After deletion, they no longer appear on the employee's timesheet.
- Deleting points is only allowed for users with permissions on the timesheet. If you cannot find this option, check your profile or contact the system administrator.
Deleting incorrect time entries through the Pontotel Gestão app is quick and secure, keeping the timesheet always aligned with the reality of the workday.
