How to disregard the meal break on a specific day

In specific situations, it may be necessary to disregard the meal break recorded on a given day, for example, when the employee loses the right to the break for not fulfilling the minimum required working hours, or when the break does not apply to the day in question. On the Pontotel platform, this action can be done simply and quickly, directly from the timesheet.

How to disregard the meal break

  1. In the navigation menu of the Management website, open the Payroll and select the Timesheet.

  1. Filter by employees.

  1. In the "select employees" field, search for and select the employee, then click search.

  1. In the upper left corner of the screen, select the skill.

  1. Locate the day in question, click the three dots to open the day's options, and select the "ignore break" option.

  1. When performing this procedure, the system will recalculate the work hours, and the meal break entry will not be considered in that day's calculation. An alert will be displayed on the timesheet indicating that the break was disregarded. This warning is for informational purposes only and does not interfere with locking or closing the timesheet.

The option to disregard meal breaks on specific days is yet another feature to ensure flexibility and accuracy in timesheet adjustments.
