How to edit a user
Editing a user's information is essential for keeping data up-to-date at Pontotel, whether it's to correct personal data, change permissions, reset passwords, or update the access email. The procedure is simple and quick.
Step by step
1. Access the user screen.
In the top menu of the Management website , click on admin and then on users .

2. Locate the desired user.
Use the search bar or the available filters to find the user you want to edit.

3. Click the edit icon.
When you select the user, a menu will open. Click the pencil icon to open the editing screen.

4. Change the necessary information.
On the editing screen, adjust the fields as needed:
- Name, email, CPF (Brazilian tax identification number) or access password
- Access permissions (HR, manager, supervisor, employee, etc.)

- Link to workplaces or departments
- Associating an employee record with a user.

5. Save the changes.
After reviewing and modifying the data, click "save" to apply the changes.

⚠️ Warning: Changes made to user data take effect immediately. When updating the email, remember to inform the employee of the new address to avoid access problems.
Keeping user registration information up-to-date is an important practice to ensure security and efficiency when using the platform.
