What is the ITI Verifier and how to use it?
The National Institute of Information Technology (ITI) provides free verification tools to validate digital files in accordance with Brazilian legislation. There are two main types:
- Data Source File (FDFP) Verifier
- Used to validate files generated by time clocks (REP) in accordance with Ordinances 1510 and 671 .
- Ensures that the AFD file follows the layout defined by law and can be correctly imported into time and attendance management systems, such as Pontotel.

- ICP-Brasil Digital Signature Verifier
- Used to verify if digitally signed documents (such as contracts, Technical Certificates or Terms of Responsibility) comply with the ICP-Brasil standard.
- It is useful in situations where you receive documents with digital certification and need to confirm their legal validity.
