How to register an employer
In this article, we will show you how to quickly and efficiently register a new employer on the Pontotel platform. This process is essential to ensure that all employer data is organized from the start, facilitating the management and monitoring of your team. With the information correctly registered, you will have a structured base to make the most of the platform's other features.
By default, the primary employer listed during the hiring process will already be registered on the platform. However, it is also possible to register new employers.
In this article, we will see how to complete this registration.
How to register an employer
- In the navigation menu of the Gestão website, click on Registrations and then select Employers.
- Click on Create new employer.
- Fill in the required fields:

- Company Name: This field is required and must contain the company's legal name or the full name of the employer, if the employer is an individual.
- CNPJ or CPF: One of the two must be filled in, depending on whether the employer is a legal entity or an individual.
- Trade name: Optional field, which can be filled with the company name as it is known on a daily basis.
- Code: Use this field to enter a unique identifier for the employer, usually as it is also identified in the payroll system. This is especially important for clients with more than one CNPJ (Brazilian tax ID), as it helps to organize and differentiate records when transferring information to another system via E02, facilitating daily consultation and management.
- CEI/CNO/CAEPF: Optional field, intended for the employer's registration number with the INSS (Brazilian National Institute of Social Security) or the Federal Revenue Service.
- Employer logo: The company logo can be inserted in JPG or PNG format. If added, the logo will appear on the time sheets of employees linked to the employer. If not added, the time sheet will display the Pontotel logo.
- After filling in the fields, click Save.
Done! With the employer registered, you have a well-structured base to manage and organize your registrations. This ensures that the other platform features can be used fully and efficiently, helping you to accurately track your team's work hours and performance.
