How to enable permissions to clock in and out on the BatePonto website (web)
When clocking in and out using the BatePonto, certain permissions need to be enabled to ensure the Pontotel platform functions correctly. Among these is geolocation, which identifies the employee's access location via IP address, allowing the system to recognize information such as country, city, and local time of the clocking in/out.
If it was necessary to take a photo, it was also necessary to allow the use of the camera in the browser, permitting image capture at the time of recording.
Furthermore, in order for the employee to receive notifications about their work hours, it is essential to enable notification permissions in the browser, as well as ensuring that there is an active notification rule on the platform.
In this article, you'll learn how to enable each of these permissions and ensure hassle-free time tracking.
How to enable permissions in the Google Chrome browser.
- Visit the website: https://bateponto.pontotel.com.br.
- Click the icon to the left of the address bar (URL).
- In the list, enable all three permissions, as shown in the image below.

Now, whenever a point is registered, the system will automatically collect geolocation information and a photo or facial biometrics, in addition to issuing notifications, ensuring greater security and traceability in the registration. However, it is important to note that each functionality depends on prior configuration in the system.
