How to reactivate a user in the system
At Pontotel, "deleting" a user doesn't mean permanently deleting them: they remain listed among deactivated users. This way, all previous records, such as timesheets and time entries, are saved. To use them again, you need to reactivate them.
With that in mind, we've prepared this article to show you how simple it is to reactivate a user on our platform. Best of all, the employee's history is completely preserved! In this article, you'll see step-by-step how to locate deactivated users and reactivate them.
How to reactivate a user
- In the navigation menu of the Management website, open the Admin and click on the Users.
- In the "show" category, select the "disconnected" to list users who are inactive.

- Among the deactivated users listed, click on the name of the employee you wish to reactivate.
- In the menu that opens, press the Reactivate

- The system will move it from the "Disabled" list to the Active list.
- Even after being "deleted," the user remains listed in the "Disconnected" section of the system.
- Deletion does not erase user data, but only deactivates it so that it cannot be accessed or actively used while in this state.
- Upon reactivation, the user's history of previous actions, permissions, and affiliations is restored as configured before deactivation.
- It is possible to adjust the user's fields before reactivating the device.
- Make sure the user has the appropriate profile and permissions after reactivation.
Reactivating users in Pontotel is simple and secure: you just need to find them in the deactivated list and reactivate them. This workflow allows you to keep all records intact while controlling user access and usage in a structured way.
