How do I check the expiration date of my banked hours?

Knowing the expiration date of an employee's banked hours is crucial to ensure that hours are correctly compensated or deducted within the established timeframe. This expiration date may vary depending on the employee's hire date or the start date of the configured rule.


In this article, we will show you how to check the expiration date of your banked hours, ensuring more accurate and effective control.


Step by step:


Access the module to generate the report.


In the top menu of the Management website, click on Management and then select Reports and Records.



  1. Select the report and apply the necessary filters.


On the right side, in the "reports" section, select the option R21 - Spreadsheet for time bank control .



On the left side, apply the filters for generating this report.


Filter by workplaces, employers, employees, or groups.



  • Below, select the location, employer, group, or employee for whom you want to view the time bank expiration.

When defining the period , select only one day for the start and end dates. We recommend choosing the day you are generating the report.

Enable the option below:



Click on R21 Beta to generate the file. If this option is not available, choose the alternative that appears on your system.



  1. Open the report and check the due date.


Please wait for the report to be completed.



Once completed, the report will be downloaded to your computer. If you cannot find it, click on the bell icon next to the Pontotel logo, and then on the symbol indicated below, which will be next to the completed report.



Open the compressed file and select the spreadsheet named "success".


It is recommended that you have a file decompression program (e.g., WinRAR), and also a program for viewing files in XLS or XLSX (e.g., Excel).



With the spreadsheet open, in the "Events" tab, you will see the time bank expiration date in column G. If the time bank is managed by a window, the expiration date will be in column H.
