Employee time and attendance settings and benefits
Properly configuring points and benefits is essential for maintaining accuracy and transparency in timesheets, facilitating the control and management of employees' work hours.

Step by step
- Access the corresponding location.
In the top menu of the Pontotel Gestão website , go to "registrations", then select "employee". Select the desired employee from the list and, in the menu that opens, click on the edit registration icon. Within the registration, select the "time and benefits settings" section.

Below is an explanation of each feature available in this section:

Safety measures
- Record time with photo in the app (mobile devices): Captures a photo of the employee at the moment they clock in or out using the app.
- Record time with voice in the app: Allows the employee to record their voice along with their time via the app.
- Record time with photo (web): Enables photo capture via computer when recording time on the BatePonto website .
- Recording time with voice on Pontotel Web (computer): Allows the employee to record their voice along with their time on the BatePonto website .
Error prevention
- Show journey time in the app (mobile devices): Displays the expected and actual journey time in the employee's app.
- Show feedback in the app: The app displays notifications and reminders related to the employee's time and attendance.
Example: if an employee tries to clock in before their scheduled start time, the app sends a message to make sure they want to continue.
- Notify about non-compliance with inter-shift intervals: Generates a warning if the employee is clocking in with an interval shorter than the required interval between shifts (the default is 11 hours, but this can be modified in the calculation rule).
Benefits registration
- Does the company provide meal vouchers? : Activate this option if the company provides this benefit. The system will calculate the number of meal vouchers due to the employee for the desired period. Track this information using report R18 .
- company provide transportation vouchers?: Enable this option if the company provides transportation vouchers to employees. The system will then calculate the amount to be paid in the desired period, with data also available in the R18 report .
Usage customization
- Activate sequential point: All points to be recorded will be automatically selected as Entry, Break, Return, and Exit, eliminating the step of choosing the point type at the time of registration. Points are generally allocated based on the expected work schedule, and most often follow the logical sequence: Entry, Break, Return, and Exit.
- Automatically record break time: Automatically records the break based on the expected workday.
- Omit break and return points in the record (web and management app): This option will only show the employee the "Entry" and "Exit" buttons. This function is usually activated in conjunction with "automatic break registration".
- Clock in/out at any work location: Allows employees to clock in/out at work locations other than the one linked to their profile. Useful for employees who work in the field.
- Enable double confirmation of time clock registration (computer): Requires additional confirmation before saving the registration, so that the employee confirms the chosen time clock type. This option reduces the chances of incorrect time clock registration.
On-call
- Activate on-call status: Enables clocking in and out while on-call, used when the employee is available outside of regular working hours.
Activity control
- Enable activity logs with allocation: Allows the employee to register and link activities performed using the activity log functionality.
