How can an employee initiate the locking of their payroll?
The Pontotel system offers a bilateral locking option, allowing employees to initiate the locking process for their own timesheets. Step-by-step guide for the employee.
- Check the permissions
Before initiating the locking process, the employee must have permission to view and lock their timesheet. If they do not have access, contact their manager, HR, or the Pontotel support team to make the necessary adjustments to the "employee" permissions.
- Access the timesheet
2.1. First form:
- After logging into the Management website , on the home screen, click the " monthly payroll" button.

2.2. Second form:
- In the main menu, click on sheet and select timesheets .

Filter by employees.

In the "select employees" field, search for and select your own name, then click search .

- Check and correct the records.
On the timesheet, in the upper left corner of the screen, make sure you are on the correct payslip.

- Check all time sheets, work hours, and time entries to ensure there are no inconsistencies.
- If you identify any errors, make the necessary corrections before proceeding (or request the correction from your Manager or HR).
- Start locking the sheet.
- After reviewing and adjusting all points, click start and confirm locking in the sheet toolbar.

- A half-closed padlock icon will appear on the left side of the sheet, indicating that the locking process has begun.

💡 Tip : Be sure to carefully review all notes before starting the locking process. Once started, changes to the sheet will require authorization from the manager or HR.
