How to delete a holiday

Deleting holidays that no longer apply or were entered incorrectly is a simple task in the Pontotel system.

Follow the step-by-step instructions below to quickly and safely remove the holiday record.


How to delete a holiday


  1. In the navigation menu of the Gestão website, click on Registrations and select the Holidays.


  1. Locate the holiday that needs to be removed. Select the holiday and, in the menu that opens, click the delete.



  1. A confirmation message will be displayed. Make sure you are deleting the correct record and click confirm to complete the action.




⚠️ Warning:
  • Deleting a holiday is a permanent action and cannot be undone. Make sure the selected holiday will truly no longer be needed before proceeding
  • If the holiday has already been used to calculate a timesheet, it cannot be deleted. In this case, edit the holiday and uncheck the "fixed holiday" option so that it is not replicated in subsequent years.
