How to use the Guided Tour

The Guided Tour, also called the Interactive Tutorial, is a dynamic tool available within the Pontotel Gestão website itself. With it, you learn in practice how to perform the main registrations, configurations, and processes of the system, all with step-by-step instructions directly on the screen.

This feature was created to make deploying and using the platform simpler, more intuitive, and more organized, helping both new users and teams that want to review important system processes.


How to access the Guided Tour


  1. Log in to the Pontotel Gestão using your browser.


  1. Activate the Tour: If this is your first time accessing the site, the Tour will open automatically. On subsequent visits, you will need to activate it. In the side menu, click on Admin and then select the Tour.



  1. When you start the Guided Tour, the system will display a message asking you to choose which tour model you want to follow:


  • Fast Track: Ideal for users who want to start tracking time as soon as possible. In this format, you will only perform the essential settings to quickly enable the use of the platform for the team.
  • 🔧 Complete Journey: Recommended for users who want to structure the entire operation from the beginning, configuring rules, processes, and advanced features for a more complete and personalized experience.


After selecting the desired journey, the Tour will automatically organize the recommended steps and tasks for that deployment format.




How does the Guided Tour work?


The tour is divided into missions, and each mission has interactive tasks that will guide you throughout the process of setting up and using the system.


The missions available in the Complete Journey are:

  • Start
  • Structural registers
  • Operational registrations
  • System rules
  • Point ecosystem
  • Time clock
  • Payroll management
  • Sheet closing
  • Strategic management




The missions available in FastPass are:

  • Start
  • Structural registers
  • Point ecosystem
  • Time clock




Within each mission, the Tour presents tasks directly on the screen, showing exactly where to click, what information to fill in, and what settings need to be configured.




Monitoring progress


During the Guided Tour, a progress bar will be available to track the progress of completed tasks.



In addition, you will be able to:

  • Navigate between the menus of the chosen journey and the missions available in the journey.
  • Complete new missions and tasks, following the sequence suggested by the Tour
  • Resume tasks later
  • Navigate between missions
  • Revisiting previously completed steps


When you complete tasks or missions within a journey, your progress will be automatically saved in the system.

This means that if you later decide to switch between the Fast Track and the Full Track, all completed steps will continue to be counted normally.

This way, you can switch between journey formats at any time without losing the progress already made in the platform's implementation or configuration.

This allows for a more flexible and organized deployment, respecting the pace and needs of the operation.


⚠️ Attention: When accessing a mission, you can freely choose which task you wish to perform, as well as revisit and redo completed tasks whenever necessary. After completing all the tasks in a mission, the system will automatically redirect you to the Journey's main menu, allowing you to select a new mission to continue the process. If you wish to return before finishing all the tasks, simply click on "Skip tasks," available in the lower right corner of the menu. This option can also be used in the Journey's main menu. In this case, the Guided Tour will end. This flow allows you to navigate between the Guided Tour missions in a practical and flexible way.


Interactive on-screen instructions


When starting a task, the system will display visual instructions and explanatory messages indicating each necessary action within the platform.



The Guided Tour helps you to:

  • Find menus and features
  • Complete registrations correctly
  • Configure important rules
  • Understanding how Pontotel's tools work
  • Reduce errors during deployment
  • To remind you how to use a particular tool

All this without having to leave the screen or consult multiple materials at the same time.


Important notes


  • The Guided Tour can be accessed whenever needed at: Admin > Tour
  • This tool is ideal for new users, internal training, and process reviews.
  • Tasks may vary depending on the modules contracted and user permissions. Currently, the Tour is available to users with a management profile on the platform.
  • The Guided Tour's missions and tasks follow a logical sequence of platform setup and usage. Therefore, at times, you may encounter tasks that are not yet available to complete. This is because certain steps depend on the completion of previous tasks, ensuring that settings are configured in the correct order and avoiding inconsistencies during the process.


With the Guided Tour, platform implementation and learning become much simpler, faster, and more organized, allowing your team to take full advantage of Pontotel's features from the very first access.
