How to add or remove balance from the time bank (create credit or debit)

Adjusting an employee's time bank balance may be necessary in various situations, whether to add overtime, record lateness, or correct other types of records. The ability to add or remove balances offers the flexibility to manage these adjustments efficiently, without having to reset the time bank or start a new cycle.

In this article, we will explain how to make these adjustments, creating credits or debits in the time bank, ensuring precise control aligned with your company's needs.

Step by step:

  1. In the navigation menu of the Management website, click on Management and then select Time Bank.

  1. Filter by employee, select the employee, and click Search.

  1. Select the correct time bank compensation method for the employee

  1. Click the Manage, which will appear next to the collaborator's name in the list below the filters.

  1. Click on the "create debit and credit" section

  1. Fill in the fields:

  • Date: Enter the date on which the balance will be added to the employee's payslip.

⚠️ Warning: Please check that there are no total balances with a date later than the one you are registering. If there are, this balance will be disregarded, as it will be added to a cycle that has already been closed.

  • Notes: In the notes displayed below, select the one that best corresponds to the amount to be entered.
    • If the amount to be entered is a debit (to remove hours from the employee's time bank), choose a negative time entry, such as "late hours".
    • If the amount to be entered is a credit (to add hours to the employee's time bank), choose a positive time entry, such as "overtime".

  1. Finish by clicking create.
