How to configure emails regarding payroll locking
event occurs one-sided sheet lock, the system automatically sends a notification email to the users involved. The Lock Email Configuration allows you to control which users should or should not receive these notifications, avoiding unnecessary communications to profiles that do not need to be alerted.
What is it for?
This feature allows you to:
- Avoid sending unnecessary emails to specific users
- Control notifications for strategic profiles (e.g., management, audit, technical profiles)
- Reduce operational noise
- Ensure that only relevant users are notified of unilateral crash events
It is especially useful in scenarios where the event occurs, but certain users do not need or should not be notified.

How to access
- In the side menu, click on Admin, and then on Locking Rules.
- At the top of the page, click the Email Settings.

How to block receiving emails
- field "Selection mode", choose how you want to select users:
- By user: selects specific people by name.
- By permission: selects an entire profile, affecting all users with that permission. Learn more about permissions in this article.
- Click on the selection field and choose the desired users or profiles. You can select more than one or use the "All".

- In "Action", choose what you want to do:
- Enable email blocking: selected users will stop receiving notifications.
- Disable email blocking: selected users will start receiving notifications again.
- Click Apply.

A confirmation message will appear indicating how many users have been updated.

Just below the form, there is a table with all the users who are currently blocked from receiving crash emails.
Through it, you can:
- Search for a user by name or email.
- To reactivate receiving emails individually, click "Activate Emails" in the desired user's row.
